Tony Vitello Receives a Well-Deserved Raise

Tony Vitello has received a hefty pay-day and Daddy’s staying home. 

Not that there was ever much doubt - the guy bleeds orange - but Danny White made damn sure of it today, rewarding Tony V with a contract extension through 2029. 

You know what they say: “The rich get richer…” He’s gonna have a Costanza wallet, but instead of receipts it’s stuffed with cash. $3 million a year, to be exact, which makes him the highest-paid college baseball coach in the nation. 

The transfer recruits are flowing in, the stadium is getting upgraded, everybody wants to play for Tennessee. We’re the top of the food chain in the college baseball biome and Tony Vitello has been integral in getting the program back to rarified air on the mountaintop.

This is a massive win for the Tennessee athletic department, no two ways about it.
