Tonight is the biggest game of Kim Caldwell’s young coaching career.

Forget South Carolina. Forget LSU. Forget them all.

This is it. Tonight.

No. 6 UConn is in town tonight to take on No. 19 Tennessee at 6:30 on ESPN.

The biggest women’s basketball rivalry that ever was or ever will be.

The two most important programs in the history of the sport.

Good vs. Evil.

Nothing could possibly say “we’re back” more than the Lady Vols beating Geno Auriemma tonight.

Pat Summitt’s oldest rival, stinky Geno, the one we all loved — and still love — to hate.

This is a good UConn team, but it’s not the UConn of old. It’s a beatable team.

Now some might say Tennessee is not the Tennessee of old either.

And that’s fine. But I believe we’re on the way up, and they’re on the way down.

Geno can’t possibly be as inspired to keep doing this thing as he once was.

By the way, I just thought of this. It’s not important, but I don’t know why I never thought of it before.

Pat and Geno. It’s the same rivalry as the Philly cheesesteak restaurants. Neat.

UConn leads the all-time series against Tennessee 17-9. Of course, quite a few of those 17 wins were against us in our down years.

Let’s make it 17-10 tonight. All we gotta do is stop Paige Bueckers.

No big deal.
