Gamblers are convinced the Tennessee Titans are looking to draft Colorado’s Travis Hunter with the No. 1 pick.
According to BetMGM’s John Ewing, bettors are reading a lot into comments made by president of football operations Chad Brinker on Wednesday when he told reporters, “we won’t pass on a generational talent.”
Hunter, the 2024 Heisman Trophy winner, has often been referred to as a generational talent. Hunter plays both ways as a top level cornerback and receiver.
That, of course, probably won’t translate to the NFL — and the Titans are in desperate need of a quarterback.
But the odds on it shifted dramatically after Brinker’s press conference.
All the way from +1500 to +150.
Would this be a good move by the Titans? Probably not. But it would surely make headlines.
