The EA Sports College Basketball Game Is Coming Back And Could Include Lady Vols

Wow. What terrific news we’ve just received on this last day of June 2025.
The good news is that EA Sports is bringing back the college basketball video game.
The only bad news is that we won’t be able to play it until 2028.
Matt Brown of Extra Points on Monday released a detailed memo in regard to the proposed new video game.
“FWIW, it also won't be called NCAA Basketball,” Brown wrote. “The working title mentioned in the paperwork I inspected was ‘EA Sports College Basketball’. The NCAA will participate as a licensing partner but will not be in the title of the game.”
The proposal for the game also calls for the inclusion of women’s basketball teams — so we could be seeing the Lady Vols in a video game soon!
