Tennessee Basketball Transfer Tracker: November 22-24
By Tucker Harlin
The Feast Week festivities are underway and the former Vols are in action all week long. Four of the five transfers have already or will soon participate in a tournament while one plays in a standalone Thanksgiving showcase.
Freddie Dilione V and Jonas Aidoo are not included in this weekend’s transfer tracker. Dilione doesn’t take the court again until Monday in the Sunshine Slam while Aidoo didn’t play in Arkansas’ 79-67 win over Little Rock.
B.J. EDWARDS
Mississippi State came back and defeated SMU 84-79 in the Moody Coliseum Friday.
B.J. Edwards’ 10 points were dispersed evenly through both halves of the game. Outside of his 3/5 shooting night, Edwards grabbed two rebounds and dished two assists while logging one steal.
Unfortunately, Edwards also led the Mustangs with five turnovers.

TOBE AWAKA
Arizona suffered its second loss of the season in an ugly 69-55 defensive battle to Duke at home.
Tobe Awaka didn’t start in this game and saw a very limited 12 minutes for the Wildcats. Awaka missed his one field goal attempt while corralling three rebounds and turning the ball over twice.
The matchups with Duke’s big men were unfavorable for Awaka, so guys like Motiejus Krivas and Henri Veesaar saw more minutes at the five.
D.J. JEFFERSON
Longwood participated in the Paradise Jam on Friday and Sunday. The Lancers outran Andy Kennedy and UAB 89-81 but fell hard to Will Wade and McNeese 84-69 in the first place game.
D.J. Jefferson had some involvement in the win over the Blazers, scoring on 3/4 attempts inside while grabbing a pair of rebounds and blocking a shot in 10 minutes of play.
That was not the case in the loss to McNeese as the only thing Jefferson did in five minutes was pick up two fouls.
