Tennessee Basketball Transfer Tracker: Game 3

By Tucker Harlin

Before I jump into this week’s transfer tracker, I’m going to let you know that Tobe Awaka and Jonas Aidoo will not be a part of this grouping.

Due to the scattered nature of early season scheduling, Arizona doesn’t play again until Friday, so Awaka will be grouped with the weekend games. Additionally, Jonas Aidoo missed Arkansas’ 65-49 win over Troy Wednesday.

B.J. EDWARDS

SMU is off to a 3-0 start under Andy Enfield as it defeated UNC Greensboro 81-68 Monday night.

B.J. Edwards was the second best scorer for the Mustangs with 17 points on a 50% shooting night. Edwards also led SMU in boards with seven for the night.

He’s getting more run under Enfield than Rob Lanier, playing a team-high 33 minutes on Monday.

FREDDIE DILIONE V

Penn State is also off to a 3-0 start thanks to a 92-62 victory against St. Francis on Tuesday.

Freddie Dilione’s production has slowed since the opening win over Binghamton. Dilione played 12 minutes against St. Francis, by far the fewest of the starters.

He was 2/7 from the field with three boards and two assists.

D.J. JEFFERSON

Longwood defeated Milwaukee 76-62 on Wednesday night.

Former Vol D.J. Jefferson once again played just a handful of minutes off the bench. Jefferson hit a three, blocked a shot, and picked up two fouls in four minutes for the Lancers.
