Remember last week when Vol Football wanted you to vote for Smokey Grey as top uniform in college football?
Well, it won.
This comes with little surprise as Vol Nation always shows up to the polls.
“Officially the uniform of the year,” Vol Football posted on X. “Shoutout #VolNation.”
The award comes from uniswag.com, which listed a handful of finalists for their college football uniform of the year.
Tennessee was one of just two SEC schools in the running for top uniform. LSU’s alternate featuring gold jerseys and white helmets was also available to vote for.
So we’ve beaten LSU in our last football, basketball, and uniform matchup.
Hopefully the baseball boys will be next on the list to take down the Bayou Bengals.
Tennessee wore the Smokey Grey uniforms against Chattanooga last season in Knoxville.
The Vols scored nine touchdowns and won 69-3.
Good stuff.
