Man Who Can’t Identify Basic Vegetables Files Lawsuit, Claims UT Conspired

By Cody McClure

Former Tennessee football coach Jeremy Pruitt has sued the NCAA in DeKalb County, Alabama, reports Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger.

Pruitt is reportedly claiming that the association “conspired with Tennessee” to make him the “sacrificial lamb” for rules violations resulting in his firing.

It also resulted in a six-year showcause penalty for Pruitt.

“The NCAA conspired with the University of Tennessee (“UT”) and others to make Jeremy the sacrificial lamb for conduct that long preceded his tenure at UT,” a presumed court document released by Dellenger states.

When Pruitt’s firing occurred, the UT Chancellor allegedly admitted, “Jeremy, we know you haven’t done anything wrong,” states the document.

The former Vols coach is apparently claiming a staggering $100M in lost wages.
