ESPN Joe is at it again.
Lunardi has bumped us down to a 2-seed in his latest bracketology update.
I get it. We looked poor offensively again at Kentucky.
So much so that the announcers were openly calling us overrated.
It is what it is. Just gotta be ready in March. It’s not like we’re having to sweat being on the bubble or anything.
Because Tennessee is a LOCK according to Lunardi — along with five other SEC teams.
As of today Lunardi has a whopping 13 SEC teams in the NCAA Tournament.
The six locks include Alabama and Auburn, who play this weekend in a colossal No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup, Florida, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Kentucky.
He’s also got Ole Miss, Missouri, and Mississippi State over 85 percent likely to be in the field.
Oklahoma, Texas, Vanderbilt, and Georgia are also IN but closer to the bubble.
Arkansas is the first team out. So 14 SEC teams projected at least as possibilities to make the field.
Literally everybody besides LSU and South Carolina. Crazy.
We share the 2-line with conference foe A&M. The No. 1 seeds are Auburn, Florida, Alabama, and Duke.
