Nya Robertson has committed to the Lady Vols.

Finally, a patch of sunshine in the middle of a storm for Tennessee Athletics.

Robertson, an SMU guard transfer, officially committed to Tennessee on Sunday afternoon with one year of eligibility remaining.

The 5’7” guard averaged 18.5 points and 3 rebounds a game for the Mustangs last season.

She also shot 31.2% from beyond the arc, connecting on 62 of her 199 attempts.

She made Second-Team All-ACC last year and will be an ideal guard in Kim Caldwell’s fast-paced offense.

This is Robertson’s second transfer of her collegiate career. She played her freshman and sophomore year at George Washington and committed to SMU in May 2024.

This is the Lady Vols’ first portal addition of the year, adding a veteran ahead of a highly-touted freshman class next season.
