The three schools the 6-5 shooting guard will choose between are Tennessee, Xavier, and Pittsburgh.
Basketball recruiting differs heavily from football and baseball in class sizes and also with the transfer portal.
For Tennessee, Evans would be the second commitment in the 2025 class. He would join DeWayne Brown, a forward from the Birmingham area who chose the Vols over Mississippi State.
Evans would be one of three commitments scheduled to come to Knoxville in the future as 2024 guard Bishop Boswell will get his start this season. All of these pieces are vital with the expected departures off the roster at the conclusion of this season.
