Is Jordan Gainey Possibly Coming Back For Another Year At UT?

This is not a report, but merely a rumor with a bit of steam behind it.
Julia Sciortino recently put up a post on TikTok of her and Jordan Gainey on the basketball court.
The TikTok caption stated “5th year loading” followed by “6th man of the year this year AND next” along with the looking eyes emoji.
Gainey was in the TikTok with her. Is this an indicator that he has found a way to play another year at UT?
Not necessarily. It’s just a girl’s TikTok. But Tennessee is in desperate need of a shooter or two, and nobody has better connections to Rick Barnes’ program than Gainey.
His dad, Justin, is one of the assistant coaches.
As Tennessee fans, we can only hope that Gainey has gained his extra year of eligibility.
We’ll see if anything more comes of this.
