Fanrun Fantasy Scoreboard: Week 11
By Tucker Harlin
Week 11 of the Fanrun Fantasy Football Fight is in the books.
A new #1 is atop the standings after this week. The race for the punishment is getting interesting with four teams sitting at 3-8 right now.
Here’s a look at our results:
TUCKER HARLIN 118.78 vs CODY MCCLURE 122.14
Somewhere in his afterlife, Tom Petty is loudly singing about the free fall of my team.
My wins this week were at quarterback and receiver. Josh Allen exorcising the Mahomes demon scored me 23.98 while Jerry Jeudy scored me an unexpected but welcome 26.2.
Breece Hall was awesome at running back, but Derrick Henry really let me down. Kyle Pitts did the Kyle Pitts thing where he follows up some 20-point outings with a whopping 1.9.
Cody got me bad at flex with an 18.3 from Ladd McConkey to the 5.3 I got out of Aaron Jones. The Varsity Athletes also doubled me up on defense.
I guess Brandon Aubrey’s 5 gave me a win at kicker.
The 27.8 Matthew Stafford scored me was the only noteworthy bench performance on either end.
MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES 148.1 vs SAM BEARD 84.28
I smell a new #1 in the power rankings!
Sam had a pretty big letdown from Tony Pollard at running back while J.K. Dobbins scored 18.9 to help Issues get the win. MIssues didn’t need a big night from Nico Collins thanks to the 29.8 Oak Ridge native Tee Higgins scored.
The largest win for Issues came out of the 41.52 scored by the one and only Taysom Hill at tight end. The wins at flex and defense weren’t as pronounced with Najee Harris hitting 13.3 and the Packers scoring a 4.
Sam won by a couple of touchdowns at quarterback and by two at kicker thanks to the one and only Cameron Dicker.
Each side had four bench players that would’ve had nice outings as starters on their bench, including a 25.1 out of Jauan Jennings for Issues.
JACE BROWN 137.58 vs HOUSTON KRESS 172.16
Lots of points were scored in this one, but Houston ran away from Jace on Monday night.
Both sides had good weeks at receiver, but Devonta Smith let the Vol Rumor Mill down with his not so nice 6.9 points. Ja’Marr Chase scored Jace 26.5 to go with George Pickens’ 16.9.
Houston punished Jace at both tight end and flex thanks to a crisp 28.1 from Jonnu Smith and 38.7 from first round pick Amon-Ra St. Brown.
The Rumor Mill had closer wins at quarterback and defense from both Brock Purdy and the Vikings defense. Running back was close too, but Joe Mixon almost beat the combined effort of Jahmyr Gibbs and D’Andre Swift himself.
Jace did leave the matchup with a dominant victory at kicker, a 24-point day from Chris Boswell. Austin Ekeler and Jordan Love for Jace were the only noteworthy bench outputs.
RYAN BROWN 138.36 vs WILLIAM PATTESON 110.52
Ryan’s win over William creates a messy foursome of 3-8 teams at the bottom of the league.
De’Von Achane and Christian McCaffrey didn’t dominate for Ryan, but both individually outscored Kenneth Walker and Rhamondre Stevenson.
The most dominant win for Ryan came at tight end with a crooked 31.3 out of Brock Bowers. His other win was at flex with 14.7 from Courtland Sutton.
Overtime Bill had narrow wins at kicker and defense along with a seven-point win at quarterback with Aaron Rodgers. The 18.6 CeeDee Lamb scored on Monday night won him receiver by .6
Davante Adams was the only nice day Ryan had on the bench while Quentin Johnston, Jordan Addison, and David Njoku all could’ve gone for William.
TIM HILL 85.54 vs JON REED 102.84
Jon and Tim combined for the lowest output of any matchup this week.
Chase Brown alone got Jon the win at running back while Cooper Kupp alone got him the win at receiver. Additional wins for Jon came at flex with 13.7 out of D.J. Moore and 12 out of Jake Bates at kicker.
Tim got by with a 15.84-13.44 at quarterback and a 3--5 win on defense. Tim’s best performance was an 18.7 out of Zach Ertz at tight end.
Peaches left a monster day from Jared Goff and a nice 16.8 from Xavier Worthy on the bench while Christian Watson was Jon’s only noteworthy player on the bench.
BOB BASKERVILLE 111.14 vs RUSSELL SMITH 145.1
A dominant win at quarterback thanks to Joe Burrow was about the only thing Bob could flex here. He had the advantage at flex and kicker, but by a point each.
Russell won 53.5-37.6 at running back. Saquon Barkley is on a monster run while James Cook just missed the 20 mark for the Keg of Glory.
Dubsy also dominated with a 37.2-14.2 victory at receiver with Puka Nacua shining brightest. Russell’s other wins were at tight end with 11.1 out of Dallas Goedert and a 17 from the Texans defense
Javonte Williams was the only start worthy performance on Bob’s bench while Russell’s only respectable outing on the bench was from Rome Odunze.
