Fanrun Fantasy Power Rankings: Week 11
By Tucker Harlin
The committee has spoken.
Here are the official Week 11 Fanrun fantasy power rankings.
1. SAM BEARD (8-2)
Despite the fact Sam only scored 78 points and won against Overtime Bill last week, he’s fielding the team with the best record in the league.
Sam desperately needs Mike Evans to return at receiver. Sam Darnold’s true colors are beginning to affect Justin Jefferson’s production, and Trevor Lawrence’s injuries are going to slow down Brian Thomas.
Sam plays More Important Issues this week, a game that may have first place implications. Kyler Murray is the only relevant player on bye for Sam.
2. TUCKER HARLIN (7-3)
Head to head victories are the first tie breaking metric I use, and I have wins over both Jace and MIssues.
However, I don’t think I’ll reach the top again this season. My receiver situation has me playing my third and fourth best options at best right now and Breece Hall’s first round value has severely depreciated.
I play Cody this week. There are no byes to speak of on my team.
3. MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES (7-3)
MIssues defeated Jace earlier in the season, so that’s why they’re ahead of him this week.
Bijan Robinson is living up to the billing as a first round pick. Chuba Hubbard and Jauan Jennings have evolved into some of the best late round picks this season, and Nico Collins should return soon.
As I just mentioned, Issues plays Sam this week. Hubbard is the only noteworthy player on bye.
4. JACE BROWN (7-3)
Jace went from a difficult start in the regular season to having a strong chance at finding himself in the playoffs.
I tried to tell him Jahmyr Gibbs, Ja’Marr Chase, Travis Kelce, and Lamar Jackson was a strong group, and look where his team is with four weeks to go in the season.
Jace faces Houston this week. Wan’Dale Robinson is his only player on bye.
5. RUSSELL SMITH (6-4)
Russell is the standalone 6-4 team after his survival in a rock fight with Young Phillip Fulmer.
Russ is letting Russ cook at quarterback. Puka Nacua’s return has been mostly positive, now he just needs for D.K. Metcalf to return again.
The Keg of Glory goes at it with Bob this weekend. Trey McBride is the lone player importance on bye for Russell.
6. HOUSTON KRESS (5-5)
Houston ranks #6 as a result of a dominant head to head victory over Cody a couple weeks ago.
The Vol Rumor Mill has pieced together a nice stretch at running back despite the injury to Isiah Pacheco, who should be returning to the field shortly.
Houston will only be without kicker Chase McLaughlin against Jace this week.
7. CODY MCCLURE (5-5)
The Varsity Athletes have begun to encounter bumps in the road.
The receiver production hasn’t returned to form the way Cody would have liked. Tyreek Hill hasn’t been as productive with Tua’s injury, and Malik Nabers also hasn’t been the same since he was injured.
Cody plays a struggling Young Phillip Fulmer this week. Nabers and Rachaad White are both off for Cody this week.
8. JON REED (4-6)
Jon has the standalone 4-6 team following his victory against Ryan.
The Juggalos are fortunate to have enough production from Garrett Wilson, Cooper Kupp, and Mark Andrews. Chase Brown has also turned into a nice find at running back.
Jon plays Tim “The Thrill” Hill this week. Bucky Irving and Cade Otton are on bye.
9. WILLIAM PATTESON (3-7)
Head to head was not an applicable metric to the three 3-7 teams in the league, so William ranks the highest due to total points.
Bill had a stinker against Sam last week. Drake London, Darnell Mooney, and Evan Engram were his only three players to break the double figures threshold.
Overtime Bill plays the resurgent Ryan next week. Nobody is on bye, but Trevor Lawrence is injured.
10. BOB BASKERVILLE (3-7)
Bob jumped out of last place with a win he desperately needed.
His team has a lot of potential, it’s just a combination of managerial decisions that have hindered Bob from reaching greater success. Joe Burrow has been the MVP for Bob’s fantasy team, just like he has for the struggling Bengals.
Bob plays Russell this week. Baker Mayfield, Marvin Harrison Jr, and Tyrone Tracy are all on bye.
11. TIM HILL (3-7)
Peaches was taken to the woodshed by a desperate Bob in Week 10.
Outside of James Conner, Tim didn’t have much sustainable production. Kyren Williams and Jonathan Taylor both had average weeks while the receivers continue to middle.
Tim plays Jon in Week 11. Conner and Trey Benson have the week off.
12. RYAN BROWN (2-8)
Ryan’s remarkable run didn’t exactly continue against Jon last week. The average fantasy player would expect Christian McCaffrey to be a leading scorer each week, and he was.
With 16.7 points.
It’s still the beginning of CMC’s season, so he’ll put up larger numbers in the coming weeks.
Ryan has a chance to improve to 3-8 with a bout against Overtime Bill this week. Xavier Legette is his only player on bye.
