Taylor Swift was booed at the Super Bowl if you haven’t heard by now.
Fans apparently sick of the Kansas City Chiefs and/or the romance story of Swift and Travis Kelce made themselves heard when Swift was shown on camera.
But Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley said he doesn’t understand why Swift was booed.
"I remember that they showed her on the Jumbotron and she got booed. I don't get it,” Barkley said. “I don't get why she was getting hate there. She's there supporting her significant other and she's made the game bigger.
“We're trying to expand the game and her being a part of it's only helping that, so I don't get the slack that she's getting."
The Super Bowl crowd seemed to be a majority of Eagles fans, who are notorious for their verbal commitment to the game.
Apparently Swift grew up as an Eagles fan, too, so perhaps she understands it.
Barkley made the comments this week on the Howard Stern Show.
