Bill Belichick Has Still Not Signed His Contract With North Carolina

Would Bill Belichick really ghost North Carolina if he’s offered another NFL head coaching job?

Well, it has been reported that Belichick still has not signed his contract with the Tar Heels.

He has a $10 million buyout clause with UNC, which he would assumingly have to pay, if he were to leave UNC before June 1, 2025.

Unless of course an NFL owner willing to hire him covered that cost.

Presently, there is not a signed contract between Belichick and UNC, sources told CBS Sports.

CBS also said the school confirmed this. It could lead to a “legal gray area” about how much, if any, of a buyout would exist if Belichick left, CBS said.

Would Belichick be willing to take the PR hit for abandoning the Tar Heels just one month into the job?
