Apparently One Million Extra Dollars Wasn’t Enough To Land TCU’s Quarterback

TCU quarterback Josh Hoover has reportedly turned down more than $1 million to come to Tennessee.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that the Vols reached out to Hoover’s representatives “according to multiple sources” with a strong offer.

It was an offer of roughly $1 million more than he makes at TCU.

Apparently the TCU quarterback loves TCU. You would think money like that would talk but Hoover reportedly quickly turned down UT.

It is unclear if he managed to get more out of the Horned Frogs, but he already had a seven-figure salary beforehand.
