Anonymous SEC Coaches Absolutely Shred John Calipari

I love anonymous coach quotes.

Would it be cool to actually know who says this stuff? Sure. But that’s the whole idea. If a name was attached, they’d never put it out there.

Apparently multiple coaches made some disparaging comments about Arkansas’ John Calipari in a recent feature for Hoops HQ with Jeff Goodman.

They tore Cal apart with these quotes. The Razorbacks, of course, are 0-5 in SEC play.

Wild stuff. This guy used to be good.

“They have a ton of individual talent,” one SEC coach said. “But none of their pieces fit. None of them.”

“I don’t think Calipari and his staff can adapt,” another said.

And the worst:

“There’s just no fear now when I see him on the other sideline … The game has changed and he is becoming archaic.”

Archaic!
