Fanrun Fantasy Scoreboard: Week 4

By Tucker Harlin

Week 4 saw eight teams score over 100 fantasy points, something that’s been surprisingly difficult for several teams to do.

There are two remaining unbeatens in the league and two winless teams left in the league.

Here is your official Week 4 Fanrun Fantasy Scoreboard:

TUCKER HARLIN 119.3 vs BOB BASKERVILLE 104.98

This was my worst output in fantasy football all season and I was very fortunately bailed out by an injury on Bob’s end.

Neither of us had an amazing week at quarterback, but Bob got the win there with Joe Burrow’s pedestrian 16.28 while Josh Allen had his worst outing of the year for me.

I had about a 10-point edge at running back, but it was a one-man show for me with Derrick Henry running wild for the second week in a row while Breece Hall put out a whopping 3.8.

I won big at wide receiver too, although that’s probably not the case if Rashee Rice doesn’t destroy his knee.

To even things out, Kyle Pitts dropped a donut for me while Sam LaPorta’s 9.3 was enough to get the job done at tight end for Bob.

The last victory I had was on defense. Bob had a surprisingly bad week from the Texans defense against Jacksonville while a Browns scoop and score kept me in double figures.

Bob edged me out both at flex and kicker.

I had 17.9 from Aaron Jones, but Brian Robinson scored a season-high 20.3 for Bob. Brandon Aubrey’s 11 was a down week relatively speaking, and Bob got 13 from Evan McPherson.

Naturally, the week I put Michael Pittman Jr on my bench he scored a season-high 17.3. Jayden Reed scored 27.1 on my bench as well, but I wouldn’t have started him this week knowing Jordan Love’s status was up in the air.

The only thing Bob really had going on his bench was the 28.88 Baker Mayfield scored this week. Otherwise, the best scores were hovering around 10 from Javonte Williams and Khalil Shakir.

TIM HILL 122.9 vs MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES 137.5

This was a solid matchup on both ends, but More Important Issues defeated Tim to get the bounceback win.

MIssues won decisively at quarterback. C.J. Stroud bounced back from his ugly game against Minnesota with 23.5 while mediocre Mahomes scored 13 for Peaches.

The Thrill won big at running back as Jonathan Taylor and Kyren Williams hovered around 20 each. On the other end, Bijan Robinson and J.K. Dobbins scored just over 20 combined with Robinson leading the way at 11.4.

While Tim dominated at running back, Issues dominated more at receiver. Nico Collins exploded for 33.1 and received a healthy assistance with Chris Olave’s 16.7 while Tim’s highest scorer was Deebo Samuel with 10.2.

Issues’ last two wins were at tight end and flex.

Tim got a less than stellar 5.7 out of Tyler Conklin while Issues scored 14.5 in George Kittle’s return. Flex was more interesting as Chuba Hubbard edged James Conner 22.1-18.3

The Steelers defense had a shockingly bad performance for More Important Issues, losing 8-1 to the Jets defense. Ka’imi Fairbairn was fine for Issues, but he couldn’t touch Younghoe Koo’s 20.

Both Xavier Worthy and Justice Hill outscored a starter for Tim at running back and receiver. Surprisingly, Pat Freiermuth at tight end was the only one to outscore a starter for Issues.

RYAN BROWN 62.26 vs RUSSELL SMITH 78.44

This was the only awful matchup of the week.

Derek Carr’s 8.06-5.24 win over Anthony Richardson gave Ryan the win at quarterback. Russell got the win at running back, but Saquon Barkley was the only player in the matchup to score more than 6.

Russell had yet another ugly victory at receiver. He took down Ryan 17.4-15.7, largely due to a D.K. Metcalf one-man show.

Tight end wasn’t a pretty battle either, but Russell got the win with Cole Kmet outplaying Brock Bowers 6.4-5.1. Flex had a little more intrigue with Jordan Mason taking down Courtland Sutton 24-15 in favor of Russell.

Ryan had two less than stellar wins on defense and at kicker. The Packers defense outscored the Titans 6-4, and the 4 Ryan received from Harrison Butker was enough.

The only performances Ryan had on his bench where starters were outscored were from Jared Goff and Tre Tucker. The 5.7 Russell got out of Demarcus Robinson was the only one of those situations in which a bench player did better than a starter.

JACE BROWN 112.74 vs JON REED 93.38

Jon’s 93.38 is his season-high in points, but he still lost by a large margin to Jace.

Kyler Murray finished with under 10 for Jon while Jace got a nice 23.68 out of Lamar Jackson at quarterback.

Jace won 30.2-17.2 at running back. Leading the way for Jace was Jahmyr Gibbs with a season-high 19.8 while Jon’s best effort at running back was the 11.9 Tyjae Spears scored.

Jace had no issue getting the win at receiver or tight end. George Pickens and Ja’Marr Chase both scored between 16 and 18 points while Brandon Aiyuk and Garrett Wilson combined for just shy of 14. Dallas Goedert’s 13.2 was more than enough against the donut Mark Andrews threw up.

Jon’s three big wins were at flex, defense, and kicker.

Jakobi Meyers didn’t hit 10 for Jace while Diontae Johnson had his best week of the season for Jon. Jace went negative with the Bills defense and Jon stayed positive with 7 from the Chiefs defense. Nick Folk went of for 24 points in Jon’s favor.

Jace had a trio of strong performances from Travis Kelce, D’Andre Swift, and Jordan Love on his bench that outscored starters. Everybody that scored fantasy points on Jon’s bench outscored a starter.

SAM BEARD 146 vs CODY MCCLURE 112.02

Cody’s lack of strong competition through the first three weeks finally caught up to him.

The matchup at quarterback was competitive, but Sam got the win with Sam Darnold outscoring Joe Burrow 20.5-16.32.

Sam dominated the weekend at running back and receiver. Alvin Kamara finished just shy of 25 while Tony Pollard scored a season-high 18.8, and 15 from David Montgomery was Cody’s highest scorer at 15. Justin Jefferson and Mike Evans both scored over 20 for Sam while the 8.2 from Tyreek Hill limited Cody at receiver.

Cody had slight advantages at tight end, flex, and defense. Jake Ferguson outscored Dalton Kincaid 11.9-9.7, Jerome Ford had 15.2 to D.J. Moore’s 11.2, and the Raiders defense stayed at 10 while the Bears finished the day with 7.

Sam doubled Cody up at kicker with the 10 Daniel Carlson scored.

Sam had Terry McLaurin, Brian Thomas Jr., and Rashid Shaheed all outscore Moore at flex. On the other side, Cody had Ladd McConkey, Jerry Jeudy, Rico Dowdle, Rachaad White, and Tyler Allgeier outscore starters.

HOUSTON KRESS 67.56 vs WILLIAM PATTESON 141.56

Overtime Bill picked up his first win and best score of the year against Houston, who had his worst week of the season by far.

The Vol Rumor Mill’s only win of the week was Dak Prescott outscoring Trevor Lawrence 16.74-14.76.

In many cases, William didn’t need much to outplay Houston.

Houston’s running backs combined for a scintillating 1.5 to the 41.8 Bill scored with Rhamondre Stevenson and Kenneth Walker. His flex scored an incredible .8, and his defense scored 2 in comparison to the 23 Bill got out of the 49ers.

The Rumor Mill was at least competitive at kicker and receiver, but Bill had an 11-9 advantage at kicker and 36-33.88 edge at receiver.

Christian Kirk and Jordan Addison on Bill’s bench were the only players he had outscore starters. Houston’s only case of a bench player scoring more than a starter was recent waiver acquisition Kareem Hunt, who scored almost 10 more points than his running backs’ combined score.
