Kentucky +6.5 vs. Northwestern (Friday 4:30)

Kentucky achieved moderately high expectations this season and is massively underrated coming into its bowl game. Even as more action goes Northwestern’s way, take UK.

Wisconsin -4.5 vs. Miami (Saturday 8:00)

Resist the temptation to take Miami because they’re playing at home. The spread on this game has dropped form Wisco -6.0 to -4.5 because a disproportionate amount of money has already come in on Miami.

The U is playing with injuries at all offensive skill positions. That was obvious when they played Clemson. Even with a month between games, the defense has carried the team all year. Wisconsin’s style of play should wear them down, considering how much UM’s defense will be on the field.

Expect the smart money to swing back toward Wisconsin as they steal one from the Orange Bowl.

Oklahoma +2 vs. Georgia (Monday 5:00)

This line surprises me. It opened at a pick and, as of Thursday at noon, 58% of the money has come in on Georgia. Why?

There’s no discernible advantage in coaches since both are new on the scene. Georgia’s riding a fairytale season from its backup quarterback and linebacking corps. Oklahoma has the undisputed Heisman Trophy winner and is a whole yard better on YPP than the number two team in the country.

Alabama -3 vs. Clemson (Monday 8:45)
