Friday has not been kind to Tiger Woods as he struggled early and often during his second round.
After being able to rally on the last five holes on Thursday, many felt comfortable with Tiger’s position. People gained even more confidence early Friday morning when Day One’s leader, Jordan Spieth, opened up with a double bogey falling back to only five shots ahead of Woods.
Spieth was able to rally and shoot a two-over 74 to stay near the top of the leaderboard. Tiger didn’t have the same margin of error and is currently trying to merely make the cut- projected at +5.
Excitement for Tiger’s round was quickly tempered when he found himself deep in the jungle.
