2020 RBC Heritage Draftkings Fantasy Golf Picks And Sleepers

PGA Draftkings

The PGA Tour is back for its second tournament after Covid19 quarantine at the RBC Heritage. Harbour Town isn’t a course you can bomb away and think that will be an advantage. This tournament will be more about which player and hit close approach shots and get the putter hot. There are two gettable Par 5s on the front nine that helps kick start a low round.

It is well documented that I am a genius when it comes to betting on college basketball, especially when you take Tennessee out of the equation. The BillWill was hot, like scorching hot last season. It gave winners like 63% of the time against the spread.

More easy money.

It’s not college basketball season, but I still want to gamble. Cam Black of TalkSports is passing out winners each week for Nascar. And, now that golf is back, I’m going to give you another sport to make money on.

Before you jump on DraftKings and set your PGA lineup for this week, take a look at my plays of the week.

If you are unfamiliar with how the classic format on DraftKings works, here is what you need to know.

PGA Tour $250k Birdie ($3 entry)
1st Place – $25,000
2nd Place – $12,500
3rd Place – $6,000
Pays out all the way to 24,253rd place.

You start off with $50,000 in salary to build your roster of six golfers. Below is your cheat sheet.

Top Talent: $9k And Up

Xander Schauffele – $10,200
Schauffele has made five straight cuts with 11 rounds in the 60s. Last week, he had a chance to win on Sunday. If you want a high priced player to start your roster, Schauffele would be great.

Hideki Matsuyama – $9,500
If you think the $10k mark is too pricy, then save a little and roll with Matsuyama. There isn’t much of a track record to go off of, but Mats is always a solid scorer. Matsuyama has posted a score of at least 80 fantasy points in four of his last seven tournaments.

Austin Sanders’ plays: Justin Thomas $10,900 and Xander Schauffele $10,200

Middle Magic: $8.9-$7.5k

Daniel Berger – $8.900
I’m riding with Daniel Berger even after winning last week (first win on bentgrass greens). I doubt many people will go back to the well at the price of $8,900.

Joel Dahmen – $7,500
Who? Don’t sleep on Dhamen, who had four straight top-20s. I don’t think he’s going to win, but you might have solid finish with Dahmen.

Austin Sanders’ plays: Gary Woodland $8,400 and Kevin Kisner $7,700

Bottom Brags: $7.4k-Lower

Adam Hadwin – $7,300
I’m rolling with Hadwin, especially at the low price of $7,300. Hadwin threw out a 65 in Round 1 last week. I think this course sets up perfectly for Hadwin.

Graeme McDowell – $7,200
McDowell at $7,200? This is the steal of Draftkings. He sucks off the tee, but you don’t have to bomb or be accurate at Harbour Town. Also, McDowell always plays well at coastal courses.

Austin Sanders’ plays: Jason Dufner $6,500 and Wesley Bryan $6,300
