Derrick Henry

The 2020 NFL schedule was finally officially released Thursday night. And the Tennessee Titans’ path to Super Bowl LV is now abundantly clear.

Super Bowl or bust. . .right?

Anyway, below are the teams, locations, dates, and times for all the Titans games this fall. If you want a breakdown of some of the best match ups across the league this season, click here.

Side note: the Titans had the coolest schedule reveal video in the entire league.

Preseason

@ Washington Redskins

Vs. New York Giants

@ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Vs. Chicago Bears

Week 1: @ Denver Broncos, Monday, Sept. 14, 10:10 ET

The season opens for the Titans at Mile High. Last year, the Titans season turned around in Denver after Marcus Mariota was benched during the Broncos game in favor of Ryan Tannehill. And the rest, as they say, was history.

Also, opening night is a Monday Night Football game? Awesome. 10:10 ET kickoff time on a Monday night? Not awesome.

Week 2: Jacksonville Jaguars, Sunday, Sept. 20, 1:00 ET

The division slate for the Titans kicks off with the Jags at home. Will we see the color rush uniforms, again? I sure hope not. Look for Derrick Henry to have a big day here, since he is the father of the Jaguars.

Week 3: @ Minnesota Vikings, Sunday, Sept. 27, 1:00 ET

The Titans and Vikings haven’t played each other since 2016, when the Vikings put together a dominant second half to win in Nashville, 25-16. Now the Vikings have to let the Titans win on the road, it’s just the rules.

Week 4: Pittsburgh Steelers, Sunday, Oct. 4, 1:00 ET

The battle of two perennial AFC Wild Card contenders. Will Big Ben have any cartilage left in his joints by the time this game rolls around? Only time will tell.

Week 5: Buffalo Bills, Sunday, Oct. 11, 1:00 ET

It’ll be intriguing to see how many people need hospitalized for alcohol poisoning at this tailgate. Anybody else always wanted to party with the Bills Mafia?

Week 6: Houston Texans, Sunday, Oct. 18, 1:00 ET

The final game of a three-game homestead leading into the bye week. By now, the Titans are 5-0, with a huge game coming up against hated division rival, Houston. This one is all set up to be an all time, wait. . .Bill O’Brien hasn’t been fired yet? Titans by 30.

Week 7: BYE

And on the seventh week, they rested.

Week 8: @ Cincinnati Bengals, Sunday, Nov. 1, 1:00 ET

After looking into my crystal ball, it is clear that soon-to-be NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Joe Burrow will have a rough day trying to work around a stout Mike Vrabel defense. I don’t make the rules, I just tell you what the crystal ball said.

Week 9: Chicago Bears, Sunday, Nov. 8, 1:00 ET

DAAAAAAAA BEARS don’t have a quarterback. They also have 27 tight ends, but that’s an important position in today’s game.

Week 10: Indianapolis Colts, Thursday, Nov. 12, 8:20 ET

Titans get the Colts at home on a short week for Thursday Night Football. The Colts have the Ravens the weekend before, and the big question on everyone’s mind is; will Phillip Rivers have any cartilage left in his joints by the time this game rolls around? I know I already used that one, but man, we need some good, young quarterbacks in this league. The old ones are getting. . .old.

Week 11: @ Baltimore Ravens, Sunday, Nov. 22, 1:00 ET

A rematch of last seasons divisional round, where the top ranked Ravens stumbled at home to an early playoffs exit. Lamar Jackson had about three million total yards and still couldn’t get his first playoff win in the NFL. MVP, though?

Week 12: @ Indianapolis Colts, Sunday, Nov. 29, 1:00 ET

Second time seeing the Colts in two weeks. Rivers has had another kid since the first game ended.

Week 13: Cleveland Browns, Sunday, Dec. 6, 1:00 ET

The Titans beat up on the hapless Browns last year in Cleveland to open the season. It’ll probably happen again in the Jack Conklin Bowl, this year. That’s all there really is to say about the Browns.

Week 14: @ Jacksonville Jaguars, Sunday, Dec. 13, 1:00 ET

Henry averages over five yards a carry whenever he plays the Jaguars. He has scored 10 touchdowns across eight career games against the Jaguars.

Week 15: Detroit Lions, Date, Time TBA

Nobody knows when this game is going to happen, or if the Lions will be able to field a team for when it does.

Week 16: @ Green Bay Packers, Sunday, Dec. 27, 8:20 ET

Merry Christmas, everybody! The Titans’ gift to the Packers is making Aaron Rodgers request a trade away from an organization that clearly has no interest in building around him. Also, that location, date, and time just looks cold.

Week 17: @ Houston Texans, Sunday, Jan. 3, 1:00 ET

Seriously, do we think O’Brien makes it through this season? Surely the GM of the Texans will have had enough of him at this point.

And just like that, the Titans are 16-0. See y’all in Tampa, Feb. 7.
