Atlanta Falcons receiver Julio Jones appears to be trying to distance himself from the team on the field and on social media.
On Monday, Jones deleted all of his Falcons photos from his Instagram page and also unfollowed his Falcons teammates.
Julio Jones really deleted every Falcon pic. Even his bio. What is this? pic.twitter.com/qvsiLPN4id

Jones also went private on Twitter.

According to ESPN, Jones was not present when the Falcons began offseason workouts last week but was expected to show up today … but he didn’t.
Jones signed a five-year $71.25 million extension in 2015 and still has three years left on the deal. He is the fifth highest paid receiver in the NFL.
The Falcons said that Jones deleted the Instagram photos because he wanted a “fresh start” on social media and nothing more, which is probably the worst excuse for something like this I’ve ever heard.
With the NFL Draft happening this Thursday, this situation is worth watching closely.
I’m usually one to laugh at people who notice this kind of stuff on social media because it’s not always an indicator of what’s going on behind the scenes, but this seems different.
When the blonde chick from chemistry class deletes all of her pictures she had with her boyfriend and unfollows him on Instagram, you know it’s open season. I bet that’s how the rest of the NFL feels about Jones right now.
