More reasons to like Josh Dobbs, as if fans needed them
Over the weekend, beloved Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs gave an interview at the Reese’s Senior Bowl. The game itself will be played on Saturday, but the team at the Senior Bowl hooked up with Dobbs to get a perspective on his upbringing, his time at Tennessee, and aerospace engineering. Unsurprisingly, Dobbs gave eloquent, thoughtful answers to all questions. It’s a very positive piece – Dobbs is specifically asked about dealing with SEC East expectations – and it reflects well on him.

As a reminder, Dobbs finished his season with the second-best five-game stretch of any FBS quarterback by ESPN’s Total QBR metric (93.7). He completed more than 80% of his passes in November, throwing 11 touchdowns to one interception. In his final game with Tennessee, he racked up 409 all-purpose yards from air and ground, scoring four touchdowns.
