Jordan Bone is giving his mom one of the best Mother’s Day gift of all time, walking across the stage.
Well, kinda.
Due to Covid-19, Bone might not get to walk across the stage to receive his college diploma. Most universities, if not all, probably won’t be holding graduation ceremonies this year.
However, Bone will receive his college degree. In an interview with Host and Digital Media Producer of utsports.com, Kasey Funderbug, Bone said, “he secretly took courses during his first year of pro ball.”
“That was rooted from my mom … just to make her so proud.”

Bone left Tennessee for the NBA after three seasons. The Detroit Pistons took a chance on one of the best point guards in the nation with the 57th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
Bone spent most of the season with the Grand Rapids Drive scoring 17.5 points per game. Just like college, Bone was an assist machine with 7.1 assists per game.
In the interview, Bone mentioned his mom always pushed him to get his degree. He said she probably is going to cry when he tells her the news, which would make him cry.
What an awesome gift Jordan Bone is giving his mother on such a special day.
To all the Mothers out there, have a happy Mother’s Day.
You deserve it.
