Not even the Covid-19 quarantine can stop my guy Jarrett Guarantano from getting in work.
Videos surfaced Tuesday afternoon of the returning starter/12th-man Gurantano and 5-star freshman Harrison Bailey taking part in a private workout.
Thanks to Rusty Mansell of 247sports, I got all hot and bothered by what I saw from JG.
I will share the video but make sure you’re alone.
The workout focused on footwork and pocket mobility. Although Guarantano was ranked as a dual-threat quarterback out of high school, he hasn’t shown us much on the ground.
However, he did show his wheels against Kentucky when he rushed for 30 yards on six attempts. Hate if you want, but JG was a big reason the Vols won that game.
Another knock on JG was his inability to make the correct read in the RPO game. He was working on that part of his game as well. I believe Bailey ran a lot of RPOs in high school, so maybe the young gun will be able to help JG learn the reads.
Later in the evening, JG posted another video to Twitter, saying he would like to take this chance to apologize to…

It was another workout video and put me over the top.
During the “in the breaks podcast,” Davey said JG looked fat. I say Davey is just jealous Guarantano actually has muscles.
I’m doing it, JG 4 Heisman.
