Former Michigan Player Threatens University, Jim Harbaugh on Twitter (NSFW)

Former Michigan linebacker Elysee Mbem-Bosse went on a cryptic Twitter tirade on Monday night and appeared to threaten the university and more specifically, football head coach Jim Harbaugh.

The since-deleted tweets, captured by Reddit user cappy412, were apparently referring to a suspension Mbem-Bosse was handed in November.

It’s hard to tell whether these tweets are chilling or just the new extreme of dumb-assity. Tweeting “let’s not have a murder case on your hands” followed by “I’m not the bad guy” points more toward the latter.

But saying “I’m calling the morgue instead of the cops next time ‘they’ come” and pointing to the fact that Michigan is an open carry state as well as tagging Harbaugh is where the police need to step in, and they did.

A spokesman for the football team confirmed Tuesday that Mbem-Bosse had left the program last November after his suspension, which makes this social media outburst even more puzzling.

He may have been lamenting the fact that he’s not on the team anymore, which is why police were reportedly seen in and around the football facility on campus in case anything were to happen.

The police will continue with their investigation into the tweets, which are a perfect example of what not to do when you’re pissed off at your coach.

Best of luck in your transfer process, Mbem-Bosse.
