Christian Coleman runs insane 40

Tennessee track star Christian Coleman continues to break world records.

While at UT, Coleman has taken home several NCAA and SEC championships, along with numerous All-SEC and NCAA honors. He was also a member of the 2016 United States relay team in the Rio Olympics. He’s been compared to gold medalist and former Vol Justin Gatlin as one of the fastest humans in the world.

In response to the NFL draft this past weekend, Coleman decided to lace up the cleats and give it a shot at the 40-yard dash that players participate in during the NFL combine. This year, Washington receiver John Ross broke the record with a 4.22 time, beating Chris Johnson’s 4.24 from 2008. Coleman easily broke those records Monday at the Anderson Training Complex, posting a 4.12 lasered time.

Butch Jones (or whoever runs his Twitter account) responded with:

Maybe Butch should really offer Coleman a scholarship. That’s unworldly speed and UT could use it in a big way.
