Rick Barnes added a fourth and final piece to the 2017-2018 basketball roster.
Chris Darrington committed to Tennessee early Thursday afternoon. Darrington (Vincennes, IN) is a 6-1, 175-pound combo guard and is projected to play at the one and two positions. According to 247 Sports, he is a 3-star prospect and is ranked the No. 6 JUCO guard in the country. Some of his offers include Memphis, Toledo, Colorado, Nebraska, and Western Kentucky.
This past season, he averaged 20.7 points, 5.1 assists and 3.3 rebounds. He can also stroke it, as he recorded a 43.1% average from 3-point land.

Vincennes University is widely known as the top JUCO school for basketball. It has produced many great stars, including Shawn Marion, Bob McAdoo, Carl Landry, and current Kentucky guard Michael Molder.
The Vols will have to replace scoring leader Robert Hubbs III, Lew Evans, Detrick Mostella and Kwe Parker. With Darrington, the 2017 class is complete. Tennessee also has two forwards, Yves Pons and Derrick Walker, coming in along with center Zack Kent. All four players will more than likely contribute right away and have the potential of making an impact early on.
