In what can only be described as one of the most shocking moments of the entire offseason, the Tennessee Volunteers have found their next head football coach.
After leading the Texas Tech Red Raiders to an improbable Cotton Bowl Classic victory over the Texas A&M Aggies, head coach Gus Duggerton has announced his decision to be the next head coach at the University of Tennessee.

This move will send shockwaves throughout the college football landscape, as many believed the only thing holding Tennessee back was its previous head coach. This will be the fifth year in the FBS for Coach Duggs, spending the previous four seasons at Toledo, Florida State, USC, and, most recently, Texas Tech.
“Let’s go Rocky Top,” said the coach, following the announcement.
I loved my time in Lubbock. The people, the fans, the staff. We turned a 2 win team into 10 win Cotton Bowl Champs. I will always be a Red Raider (shout out Jeffery). But the road calls and Duggs is headed to Rocky Top pic.twitter.com/s98L3CsZEN
