Tennessee Center Brandon Kennedy, had a knee procedure done in the past week that could potentially keep him out of the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl.
Kennedy, who also said his plan was to return for a 6th year, if the NCAA allows him a medical waiver, will be on the bench for the first few weeks of bowl prep.
Jeremy Pruitt said Brandon will not practice the first 10 times the Vols prepare for Indiana, They will evaluate him after that 10th practice, see if he can contribute & then decide if he will play in the bowl game.
Expect to see Jerome Carvin & Riley Locklear to get a good amount of the reps in Kennedy’s absence.
