February

Feb. 1– 3* SDE Darrell Jackson commits to Tennessee. Jackson is from Havana, Fl. and plays for Gadsden County.

Feb. 5– Tennessee officially announces Joe Osovet as the new tight ends coach and Brian Niedermeyer as the Vols new inside linebackers coach.

Feb. 6– Former Notre Dame OC Chip Long is announced as an offensive assistant coach for the Tennessee Volunteers.

Feb. 10– Vols defensive line coach Tracy Rocker leaves for the same position at South Carolina. Outside linebackers coach Chris Rumph leaves Tennessee for the Houston Texans. UT Director of Player Personnel Drew Hughes leaves for South Carolina.

Feb. 21– Tennessee officially announces two hires to the coaching staff. Former Colorado DL coach Jimmy Brumbaugh joins the staff as the defensive line coach and co-defensive coordinator. Shelton Felton would then rejoin the Vols coaching staff as the outside linebackers coach after being the Vols quality control analyst in 2018 and defensive line coach at Akron in 2019.

Feb. 29– Tennessee defensive lineman Darel Middleton arrested on charges of domestic assault and public intoxication.
