Week 12 of the college football season is here, and like always, 3&OUT has the best guesses, guarantees, and everything in between.
If you kept up with our week 11 picks, you’re probably rich right now. Houston, Davey, and Billy took Minnesota to cover the 7-point spread at home against Penn State. Billy gave the gophers to win straight up, a nice payout on the moneyline.
The whole crew of 3&OUT was in agreement on three games last week, and all three games hit. You could have parlayed LSU (+6), Georiga (-17), and Tennessee (pick’em) for a winning weekend.
Before we get to this week’s guesses and guarantees, here is how the season standings look against the spread.
3&OUT (when in agreement) 9-4-1
Week 12 isn’t a loaded slate, and Tennessee is on a BYE week. However, there are some engaging games and intriguing lines from mybookie’s college football section.
No.11 Florida Gators (-7.5) vs. Missouri Tigers
It’s no secret Missouri plays better at home, but losing three straight to Vanderbilt, Kentucky, and Georiga doesn’t help our confidence the Tigers can turn it around. Everyone picked Florida.
No.4 Georgia Bulldogs (-3) vs. No.12 Auburn Tigers
Both teams display tough defenses, especially against the run. Gus Malzahn is 9-0 at Auburn coming off a bye and outscored opponents in those games 282-180. Georgia can’t afford to drop another game if they want in the playoffs. Houston went with Auburn, while Nate, Davey, and Billy took Georgia.
No.8 Minnesota Gophers vs. No.20 Iowa Hawkeyes (-2.5)
Minnesota is coming off one of the best wins in program history with their 31-26 win over Penn State. Being ranked in the Top-10 is as high as Minnesota has been since 1962. Nate took Iowa, while Houston, Davey, and Billy went with Minnesota.
No.10 Oklahoma Sooners (-10) vs. No.13 Baylor Bears
One of the biggest games in the Big12 this season comes Saturday night. Oklahoma’s defense has been exposed recently, but they still have Jalen Hurts. On the other hand, Baylor is undefeated and at home. Davey was alone taking Baylor, while Houston, Nate, and Billy took Oklahoma.
