A Sincere Thank You To Ole Miss For Two Absolute Legends

This is probably a good time to say thank you to Ole Miss for giving us two stars in Liam Doyle and Andrew Fischer.
We’ll call it payback for Eli Manning.
When the Vols picked them up out of the portal even an optimistic fan wouldn’t have expected what the two have brought the University of Tennessee.
Doyle has been elite all year with a 2.91 ERA, 10-3 record, and 158 Ks, but this weekend with the season on the line he was incredible.
Two games pitched — 9 IPs, 1 ER, 16 Ks, 1 win, and one save.
Legendary stuff.
He also managed to break Luke Hochevar’s previous single-season strikeout record of 154.
Fischer has also been elite all season batting .343, with 24 HRs, and 64 RBIs but his performance this weekend will be remembered for a long time.
Fisch had 9 RBIs including two massive home runs this weekend and his blast last night will go down in Vol history.
Bouncing around, pumping up the crowd as the Wake Forest coach has some choice words for him… and then he goes yard.
These two players will go down as legends in the Tony Vitello era that gave their all for Tennessee.
Tennessee is onto the supers after an incredible atmosphere at LNS while Ole Miss will watch from their couch after being bounced by Murray State.
Check out Doyle being a lunatic before the final strikeout of the eighth inning.
“You’re f***ed,” he appeared to say:
